Gender inclusion - resource catalog

Resource Catalog - Google Sheet
Resource Catalog - PDF

The resources included in the catalog are helpful for clubs/orgs who want to create more brave play spaces for athletes of all genders, whether they are transgender or cisgender. Everyone deserves to play in a way that benefits them!

The catalog is organized into three parts:

  • Policy

  • Programs

  • Cultural Shifts

Creating gender inclusive teams requires challenging existing status quo norms. This resource catalog was developed using real challenges that Quantum Gender has heard from sports organizations all over the United States.

The passing framework

The passing framework template

Change is hard. Making changes that seek to undo deeply rooted inequities in sports systems is even harder.

It is easy to get overwhelmed which often leads to no action. The passing framework was co-created by Quantum Gender along with brilliant minds of other leaders in the ‘sport for good’ space. The intention is to choose a pathway of action that meets where you, your organization or club are at.

This framework uses the analogy of three types of passes that are common in the game of soccer/football, but the concepts can be applied to any situation. This tool was designed with a focus on gender inclusion, but it is applicable to creating brave play spaces for the full spectrum of human experiences and identities.
