oregon da for the people
The district attorney is the most powerful position in the criminal legal system, significantly and disproportionately harming black and brown people’s lives. The campaign aims to decrease the everyday impact that the criminal legal system has on communities of color, while building community power to self-determine what safety and healing look like.
We, the voters, demand that the District Attorney hold police officers accountable, commit to ending mass incarceration, and decline to prosecute charges that criminalize us and don't keep us safe. For more on what we stand for, read our People's Platform.
Join the mass movement to build safety and justice that doesn't rely on police or prisons.
