Anti-Transgender Athlete Legislation
There are hundreds of bills across the country attempting to ban transgender athletes from competing with their peers, many of the bills target high school and younger athletes.
January 03, 2025:
The House of Representatives has passed HR28, which “prohibits school athletic programs from allowing individuals whose biological sex at birth was male to participate in programs that are for women or girls.”
The bill has now been sent to the Senate for a vote.
As of APRIL 2025 Twenty five states have signed anti-trans athlete bills into law.
